About

Meet the person
behind the smiles

I wanted, always, to help people feel good. I wanted to work in medicine—the possibility of changing someone’s life felt a little like magic.

Making things has always been part of my life. I went to art school as a child and grew up working with clay, wood, paper and paint. I’m also inquisitive and logical, and I can’t rest until I understand how something works, and why.

Dentistry brought those interests together: science, people, and the ability to turn a material into something that becomes part of someone. I feel lucky to have found the one profession that marries them, and fifteen years on, it’s still the work I want to be doing.

The right treatment, for the right person, to the right extent.

My philosophy

Most smile transformations start with a material already chosen. Mine start with an assessment. I'm a restorative dentist at heart. Before anything changes how your smile looks, I make sure it works: your bite, your function, the health of what's already there. Beauty is the result of that foundation, not a substitute for it.

How I’m different

I find out why first. If a tooth has worn, chipped or failed, or earlier treatment has let you down, I want to know where the problem started before I design anything. Then I design a smile that's right for your face, your bite and your age, and test it in stable temporaries before anything is made final. The result looks like you, and the dentistry stays invisible.

That also means I choose the most conservative treatment that will do the job, and I plan for how it will age.

The experience behind every plan

Good dentistry depends on three things working together: solid training, a good eye for what actually looks right, and the hand skill to turn that into reality.

Training

Tells me what’s possible.

Eye

Tells me what will suit you.

Hand

Years of hands-on practice mean I can shape composite or porcelain to match that exactly, tooth by tooth.

I teach other dentists

Since 2019 I've taught other dentists, at UCL and in private dental academies. Colleagues refer complex cases to me, and some trust me with their own treatment.

Jurgita Sybaite freediving along a descent line

Outside the clinic, I’m happiest diving, taking photographs or hiking a challenging route. I’m learning to freedive, partly to work through my own mental barriers. Diving is the best cure for ego I know; there is always more to learn.

I’m Lithuanian, have lived in France, and have made London my home. I’m an introvert who loves people and their stories.

Looking back, the things I once thought were separate interests have quietly come together in the work I do today.
