Bonding & Composite Veneers After Orthodontics

This patient came in self-referred, having just finished orthodontic treatment to straighten and align her teeth — but straight wasn't the same as right. Wear on the edges, present before the orthodontics and never addressed, had left the teeth asymmetric and uneven, and there was surface erosion too, caused by a combination of diet and an incorrect brushing technique that had been wearing away enamel for years.

Rather than more orthodontics or anything invasive, the fix was a mix of composite veneers, edge bonding and erosion bonding across the upper front teeth — rebuilding the worn edges, correcting the asymmetry, and restoring the surfaces the erosion had thinned. The result aimed for symmetry and harmony in an ultra-natural but bright smile, finishing what the orthodontics had started rather than leaving the straightened teeth looking unfinished.
