Upper Arch Restoration — Veneers, Crowns & Levelled Gum Margins

A patient in her late twenties came in with teeth already heavily restored with fillings, after orthodontics that improved things but never fully finished the job — leaving asymmetry, an unlevel gum line, a visible slant in the smile, and front teeth that weren't making contact at all, leaving the bite unstable. The back teeth's large old fillings also needed proper cuspal coverage to prevent fracture.

Age mattered, but not how people assume — in her late twenties, she wasn't too young for crowns and veneers; the heavily restored teeth needed them regardless. What age changed was the approach: preserving as much natural structure as possible while planning for decades ahead. A minimal laser gum lift levelled the margins, and porcelain — chosen because enamel was already compromised by years of fillings — gave the mechanical protection and natural, bright, well-matched result the teeth needed.
